Ian Somerhalder has been steaming up the silver screen as Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries for three years now.
If there’s one thing that we — and his on-and-off-screen girlfriend Nina Dobrev – can all agree on, it’s that he is adorable.
In honor of Somerhalder’s 34th birthday, Celebuzz has compiled his cutest couple moments with his ladylove.
The two began quietly dating in 2010, but went public with their relationship in May at the 2011 Coachella Music Festival.
The couple, who have a ten year age difference, tried to remain as private about their courtship as possible.
“I didn’t want to be dating one of my co-stars,” Dobrev admitted to Seventeen magazine in September 2012.
“But sometimes you can’t help you you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long…which I did for a really, really long time,” she added.
